Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Ollin platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and all applicable Egyptian laws and regulations.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Ollin mobile application ("App") or the Ollin website at ollin.com.eg ("Website") (collectively, the "Platform"), you ("User," "Customer," or "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform and delete the App from your device. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms, including any amendments made from time to time.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GlobalCorp for Consumer & Real Estate Finance ("Ollin," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company duly licensed and regulated by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This agreement is between you and GlobalCorp for Consumer & Real Estate Finance. Apple Inc., Google LLC, and their subsidiaries and affiliates are not parties to this agreement. However, Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, shall have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

Section 02

Definitions

Company / Ollin: GlobalCorp for Consumer & Real Estate Finance, a non-banking financial institution licensed by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) of Egypt under License No. [FRA-XXXX], with its registered office at [Registered Address], Cairo, Egypt.
Customer / User: Any natural person who is at least 18 years of age, holds a valid Egyptian national ID, and has registered for and/or uses the Platform to receive consumer financing services.
Platform: The Company's mobile application (available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store) and the website (ollin.com.eg), including all features, content, and services provided therein.
Goods / Services: Products and services eligible for consumer financing as defined under Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020 and as approved by the Financial Regulatory Authority.
Service Provider / Merchant: A third-party merchant, retailer, or service provider who has entered into a partnership agreement with the Company to offer goods or services eligible for consumer financing.
Finance Contract: The legally binding financing agreement entered into between the Customer and the Company, specifying the terms of the loan, repayment schedule, interest rate, total cost of credit, and all associated fees and charges.
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, including but not limited to name, national ID number, phone number, address, financial data, and biometric data.
Sensitive Data: Personal data that reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, biometric data, or criminal records, as defined under Law No. 151 of 2020.
FRA: The Financial Regulatory Authority (الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية), the governmental body responsible for regulating and supervising non-banking financial markets and instruments in Egypt.
DPC: The Data Protection Center (مركز حماية البيانات الشخصية), the governmental authority established under Law No. 151 of 2020 to oversee data protection compliance in Egypt.
I-Score: The Egyptian Credit Bureau (I-Score), the authorized credit information agency that maintains credit records of individuals and entities in Egypt.
APR: Annual Percentage Rate — the total annual cost of borrowing expressed as a percentage, including interest and all mandatory fees.
Section 03

Eligibility & Registration

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be a resident of the Arab Republic of Egypt and hold a valid Egyptian National ID.
  • You must have a valid Egyptian mobile phone number.
  • You must have full legal capacity to enter into binding financial agreements under Egyptian law.
  • You must not be listed on any sanctions, restricted party, or anti-money laundering watch list.
  • Registration is free. However, approval of any financing application is at the sole discretion of the Company following credit assessment and KYC verification.

Account Registration

  • Each account must be linked to one unique mobile phone number. Duplicate accounts are not permitted.
  • You are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may constitute a criminal offense under Egyptian law.
  • As part of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process mandated by Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002 (as amended), we may request additional identity verification documents including, but not limited to, a copy of your national ID, proof of address, and proof of income.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials (username, password, OTP codes). You must immediately notify us at care@ollin.com.eg if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

As required by the Financial Regulatory Authority and Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002, we conduct identity verification (KYC) and credit checks (via I-Score) as part of our account registration and loan assessment process. By registering, you consent to these checks.

Section 04

Description of Services

Ollin is an integrated consumer finance platform that enables eligible customers to access financing products for a wide range of goods and services. The Company is licensed by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to provide non-banking consumer finance services under Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020.

Available Financing Programs

  • Auto Finance — Financing for new and pre-owned vehicles from authorized dealers.
  • Home Finishing Finance — Financing for home improvement, renovation, and finishing services.
  • Education Finance — Financing for tuition fees, educational materials, and related expenses.
  • Solar Finance — Financing for solar energy systems and renewable energy installations.
  • Mortgage Finance — Real estate mortgage financing solutions.
  • Lifestyle Finance — Financing for lifestyle purchases including club memberships, travel, healthcare, electronics, and more.

The availability of specific financing programs, terms, and rates may vary and are subject to change at the Company's discretion. All financing is subject to credit approval and applicable FRA regulations.

Section 05

Financial Terms & Obligations

Currency & Transactions

  • All transactions, fees, and financial obligations are denominated and payable in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
  • The total cost of credit, including the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), all applicable fees, and the total amount payable, will be clearly disclosed to you before you enter into any Finance Contract, in compliance with Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020, Article 5.

Repayment Terms

  • Installments are payable on a monthly basis on the date specified in your Finance Contract.
  • A late payment fee of 5% of the overdue installment amount applies after the 5th calendar day of delay, in accordance with the terms of your Finance Contract.
  • Ownership of financed goods remains with the Company until full payment of all amounts owed under the Finance Contract is completed.
  • If three (3) consecutive installments are missed, the full outstanding loan balance, including all accrued interest and fees, becomes immediately due and payable in full.
  • Failure to meet your repayment obligations may result in legal action, including but not limited to debt recovery proceedings in Egyptian courts, and will be reported to I-Score (Egyptian Credit Bureau), which may adversely affect your credit rating.

You have the right to repay your outstanding balance in full before the scheduled end date. Early settlement fees are calculated as a percentage of the remaining outstanding principal balance, in accordance with the terms of your Finance Contract and applicable FRA regulations.

Credit Reporting Disclosure

By entering into a Finance Contract, you acknowledge and agree that your borrowing activity, repayment history, and any defaults or delinquencies will be reported to I-Score (Egyptian Credit Bureau) in compliance with Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020, Article 15, and applicable FRA regulations. This information may affect your ability to obtain credit from other financial institutions.

Section 06

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Misuse the Platform, damage the Company's reputation, or use the Platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
  • Publish, transmit, or share any illegal, offensive, defamatory, harmful, obscene, or inappropriate content through the Platform.
  • Violate any intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets belonging to the Company or any third party.
  • Share confidential, proprietary, or restricted information obtained through the Platform without proper authorization.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other user accounts, or any connected systems or networks (hacking, social engineering, or other means).
  • Introduce viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious software or code into the Platform.
  • Send spam, unsolicited communications, or phishing messages through the Platform.
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar technology to access, collect, or extract data from the Platform without prior written approval from the Company.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features, authentication mechanisms, or access controls of the Platform.
  • Impersonate another person, entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Platform in any manner that violates any applicable Egyptian law, regulation, or international sanctions regime.

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of any pending benefits, and referral to the appropriate legal authorities. The Company reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of any suspected illegal activity conducted through the Platform.

Section 07

Privacy & Data Protection

The Company is committed to protecting your Personal Data in accordance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, as well as international best practices including ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO/IEC 27701 (Privacy Information Management).

Data We Collect

  • Identity Data — Full name, national ID number, date of birth, nationality, photograph.
  • Contact Data — Mobile phone number, email address, residential address.
  • Financial Data — Income information, employment details, bank account details, transaction history, credit bureau records (I-Score).
  • Device & Technical Data — Device type, operating system, IP address, app version, browser type, unique device identifiers.
  • Usage Data — App interaction data, pages visited, features used, session duration, timestamps.
  • Location Data — Approximate location based on IP address (precise location only with your explicit consent).
  • Communication Data — Records of your communications with our customer support team.

Legal Basis for Processing (Law No. 151/2020, Articles 4-6)

  • Consent — Your explicit, informed consent provided at registration and/or at the time of data collection.
  • Contractual Necessity — Processing necessary for the performance of the Finance Contract between you and the Company.
  • Legal Obligation — Processing required to comply with applicable Egyptian laws, including Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002, Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020, and FRA regulations.
  • Legitimate Interest — Processing necessary for the Company's legitimate interests, such as fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement, provided such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Your Data Rights (Law No. 151/2020, Article 7)

Under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, you have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:

  • Right to Access — You may request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification — You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
  • Right to Erasure (Deletion) — You may request deletion of your Personal Data, subject to legal retention requirements (see Data Retention section).
  • Right to Restrict Processing — You may request that we limit the processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability — You may request your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object — You may object to the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent — You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@ollin.com.eg or submit a request through the App's settings. We will respond to your request within 15 working days as required by law.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

In accordance with Article 8 of Law No. 151/2020, Personal Data will not be transferred outside the Arab Republic of Egypt unless authorized by the Data Protection Center (DPC) and adequate safeguards are in place. Where cloud infrastructure is utilized, data is hosted within data centers that comply with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27018 standards, with appropriate contractual protections.

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management System) and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management System) to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • End-to-end encryption (TLS 1.2 or higher) for all data in transit.
  • AES-256 encryption for all Personal Data and financial data at rest.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for account access.
  • Regular penetration testing and security audits.
  • Role-based access control (RBAC) for internal systems.
  • Continuous monitoring and intrusion detection systems.
  • Compliance with PCI-DSS standards for any payment card data processing.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Data Protection Center (DPC) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 151/2020. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to you, we will also notify you directly and without undue delay, providing details of the breach and the measures taken to address it.

Section 08

Data Retention Policy

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. The following retention periods apply:

Active Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account's existence and active use of the Platform.
Financial Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of 5 (five) years from the date of the last transaction, as required by Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002 (as amended) and FRA regulations.
KYC / Identity Verification Records: Retained for a minimum of 5 (five) years after the termination of the business relationship, as mandated by AML Law No. 80 of 2002.
Credit Bureau Records (I-Score): Your credit data held by I-Score is governed by I-Score's own retention policies and applicable CBE/FRA regulations. Deletion of your Ollin account does not delete your I-Score records.
Finance Contract Records: Retained for a minimum of 10 (ten) years following the full settlement of all obligations under the Finance Contract, in accordance with the Egyptian Commercial Code and applicable FRA record-keeping requirements.
Complaint & Dispute Records: Retained for a minimum of 5 (five) years from the date of resolution.
Communications & Support Records: Retained for a minimum of 3 (three) years from the date of communication.
Technical & Usage Logs: Retained for a maximum of 2 (two) years, after which they are anonymized or deleted.
Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of the consent and for 1 (one) year after withdrawal of consent.

Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, Personal Data will be securely and permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized using methods that comply with ISO/IEC 27001 data disposal standards. Anonymized data (from which you cannot be identified) may be retained indefinitely for statistical and analytical purposes.

For data held in backups, we maintain a backup rotation schedule that ensures backup copies are purged within 90 days of the deletion of the source data.

Section 09

Account Deletion & Right to Erasure

In accordance with Article 7 of Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v), you have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and associated Personal Data.

How to Request Deletion

  • In-App: Navigate to Profile → My Profile → Delete Account (see our Account Deletion page for step-by-step instructions).
  • By Email: Send a deletion request to care@ollin.com.eg from your registered email address.
  • By Phone: Contact our customer support at [support phone number].
  • In Person: Visit our registered office at [Registered Address], Cairo, Egypt.

Processing Timeline

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will process it within 30 calendar days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. During this period, you may cancel your deletion request by contacting us.

Important Limitations

Account deletion does not extinguish any outstanding financial obligations under an active Finance Contract. You remain legally liable for all unpaid amounts. Additionally, certain data must be retained in accordance with the Data Retention Policy (Section 08) and applicable legal requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002 and FRA regulations.

Section 10

Consumer Rights & Protection

The Company is committed to protecting consumer rights in accordance with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, Consumer Finance Law No. 18 of 2020, and applicable FRA consumer protection regulations.

Your Rights as a Consumer

  • Right to Clear Information — You have the right to receive clear, accurate, and complete information about all financing products, including the total cost of credit (APR), all fees and charges, and the repayment schedule, before entering into any Finance Contract.
  • Right to a Copy of the Contract — You have the right to receive a copy of your signed Finance Contract in a durable format.
  • Right to Cooling-Off Period — For certain financing products, you may have the right to withdraw from the Finance Contract within 14 days of signing, without penalty, in accordance with applicable FRA regulations.
  • Right to Early Repayment — You may repay your outstanding balance in full at any time, subject to the early settlement fees disclosed in your Finance Contract and Section 05 of these Terms.
  • Right to File Complaints — You have the right to submit complaints regarding our services. We are committed to resolving complaints within 7 business days.
  • Right to Escalate — If your complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, you have the right to escalate it to the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and/or the Consumer Protection Agency.
  • Right to Fair Treatment — You have the right to be treated fairly and without discrimination. The Company prohibits unfair, deceptive, or coercive collection practices.

Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds for goods purchased using consumer financing are governed by the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. Any refund of the purchase price will be applied toward the outstanding balance of your Finance Contract. The Company is not a direct party to disputes between Customers and Service Providers/Merchants regarding the quality, delivery, or suitability of goods or services.

Section 11

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, trademarks, trade names, and the overall design and "look and feel" — are the exclusive property of GlobalCorp for Consumer & Real Estate Finance or its licensors and are protected by Egyptian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

  • The "Ollin" name, logo, and all related marks are registered trademarks of GlobalCorp for Consumer & Real Estate Finance.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the Platform without prior written consent from the Company.
  • Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to the Company regarding the Platform may be used by the Company without any obligation to compensate you.
Section 12

End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement governs your use of the Ollin mobile application distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Scope of License

The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on mobile devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and strictly in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store's Usage Rules (including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions).

Maintenance & Support

The Company (not Apple or Google) is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the App. Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.

Warranty

The Company warrants that the App will perform substantially in accordance with its published specifications. In the event the App fails to conform to this warranty, you may notify Apple (for iOS) and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

Product Claims

The Company (not Apple or Google) is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property Claims

The Company (not Apple or Google) is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim related to the App.

Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that: (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-Party Beneficiaries

Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple shall have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. There are no other third-party beneficiaries of this EULA.

Section 13

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and improve our services. By using the Platform, you consent to the use of cookies as described below.

Essential Cookies: Required for the Platform to function correctly. These include authentication cookies, session cookies, and security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how users interact with the Platform, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement. Data is collected in aggregated, anonymized form.
Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences (such as language and region) to provide a more personalized experience.

We do not use third-party advertising or marketing cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser or device settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair the functionality of the Platform.

Section 14

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • The Company does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • The Company is not liable for any service interruptions, delays, or outages caused by internet connectivity issues, mobile network outages, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Company in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.
  • The Company is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of goods or services provided by third-party Service Providers/Merchants.

Apple and Google have no liability whatsoever in connection with the Platform or these Terms. Any claims or disputes related to the Platform should be directed to the Company and not to Apple or Google.

Section 15

Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, applications, or websites. The Company is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party services.

  • I-Score (Egyptian Credit Bureau) — For credit assessment and reporting.
  • Payment processors — For facilitating payment transactions.
  • Identity verification providers — For eKYC and document verification.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — For hosting and data storage (operated in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27018).
  • Analytics providers — For anonymized, aggregated usage analytics.

You are fully responsible for any actions performed through third-party platforms or services linked to your Ollin account. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services before using them.

Section 16

Suspension & Termination

Company's Right to Suspend or Terminate

  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, provided false information, or posed a risk to the Company, other users, or third parties.
  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated in cases of suspected money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes, as required by Anti-Money Laundering Law No. 80 of 2002.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

User's Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process described in Section 09 of these Terms or on our Account Deletion page.

Effects of Termination

  • Termination of your account does not release you from any outstanding financial obligations under an active Finance Contract.
  • Any unpaid balances, fees, and charges remain due and payable in full.
  • Data retention obligations survive account termination as described in Section 08.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 05, 07, 08, 11, 14, and 18) shall survive.
Section 17

Modifications to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will:

  • Publish the updated Terms on the Platform with a new "Last Updated" date.
  • Notify you via push notification, email, or in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
  • For material changes to financial terms, provide at least 30 days' advance notice.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account deletion.

Section 18

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Dispute Resolution Process

  • Step 1 — Internal Resolution: Submit your complaint to Cf.Complaints@ollin.com.eg. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and endeavor to resolve the matter within 7 business days.
  • Step 2 — Escalation to FRA: If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) at their offices or through their official channels.
  • Step 3 — Consumer Protection Agency: You may also file a complaint with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
